Tá Treat Café ag cur tús le cártaí réamh-íocaíochta don cheaintín. Ní bheidh gá le déanamh ag an dalta ach bia a roghnú, 'tap' leis an gcárta agus tá an íocaíocht déanta.
Treat Café have introduced Cashless Students Cards. These cards are simply 'Tap and Go' cards when paying for the food.
Merits:
- Cards free to all students
- One can keep track of expenditure online
- Overdraft facility of 3euro will mean no student will go without food.
- No panic to have money for lunch each day.
- Reduction in cost of transaction charges.
- This scheme supports Coláiste na Coiribes goal to reduce the amount of time students spend on their phones. This service along with the school's no phone zone will allow students a break from their phones.
