Fógra maidir le hÍocaíocht Táillí Scrúduithe Stáit 2026
I ndiaidh fhógraí Bhuiséad 2026, cuireadh in iúl don Choimisiún um Scrúduithe Stáit nach mbeidh na bearta sealadacha a bhí i bhfeidhm le cúpla bliain anuas—ina mbeidh táillí iontrála scrúduithe saor ó tháille—i bhfeidhm don bhliain 2026.
Dá réir sin, beidh táillí iontrála scrúduithe i gceist arís in 2026, ag na rátaí céanna ia bhí i bhfeidhm i 2019. Seo a leanas na táillí:
- €116 an táille iontrála do scoláirí an tSraith Shinsearaigh/Ardteiste
- €109 an táille iontrála do iarrthóirí Shraith na Sóisearaí.
Tá Foireann na Scrúduithe Stáit tar éis seirbhís ar líne a chur ar fáil chun go mbeidh iarrthóirí – nó a dtuismitheoir/caomhnóir – in ann táillí scrúdaithe a íoc nó maolú táille a lorg (bunaithe ar chárta leighis).
Beidh an tseirbhís íocaíochta ar fáil ó 2.00 i.n. Déardaoin, 19 Márta 2026 ag an nasc seo:

State Examination Fees 2026 – Important Notice regarding payment
Following the 2026 Budget announcements, the SEC has been advised that the temporary measures that applied for the past number of years, under which examination entry fees were waived, are not in place for 2026. Accordingly, examination entry fees will apply in 2026 at the same level as when they were last charged in 2019;
- €116 per entry for a Senior Cycle / Leaving Certificate
- €109 per entry for a Junior Cycle candidate.
The State exams commission has a facility to allow candidates, or their parent /guardian , to pay examination fees or to apply for an exemption from fees.
The online fee service will open at 2pm on thursday 19th of March at https://fees.examinations.ie/. Each candidate will be provided with individual letters with logon details to access the portal.
The closing date for the payment of examination fees or making an application for a medical card exemption is 30th of Aril 2026. (please note that this is not a payment to the school)
