The GRETB School of Music based in Coláiste na Coiribe offers music classes from Tuesday – Friday (4.00pm-6.00pm) and Saturday (9.30am-4.30pm) held over a two term year (September – December and January – May).

Annemarie Duggan (Clarinet, Saxophone, Piano) 
Annemarie Duggan BA(Mus) H.Dip in Ed (Onóracha) ALCM LLCM(td). Rinne sí staidéar i gCathair Derby agus in Institiúid Teicneolaíochta Átha Cliath.
Bhí sí ar dhuine de bhunaitheoirí Cheolfhoireann Ceolchoirme na Gaillimhe agus sheinn sí leo ar fud na tíre ar feadh deich mbliana. Tá seinm agus staidéar déanta ag a cuid mac léinn le bannaí móra agus ceolfhoirne go hidirnáisiúnta.
Cuireann Annemarie ullmhúchán ceoil ar fáil don Teastas Sóisearach/Ardteistiméireacht, do scrúduithe iontrála Ollscoile, agus ABRSM agus RIAM don Chlairinéad, Sacsafón agus Pianó.
Annemarie Duggan BA(Mus) H.Dip in Ed (Hons) ALCM LLCM(td) studied in Derby City and DIT.
She was a founding member of the Galway Concert Orchestra and played with them all over the country for a decade. Her students have performed and studied internationally with big bands and orchestras.
Annemarie provides music preparation for Junior/Leaving Certificate, University entrance exams, ABRSM and RIAM for Clarinet, Sax and Piano.
Áine Joyce (Piano, Violin, Flute)
Chríochnaigh Áine a cuid grád pianó agus veidhlín le RIAM agus chríochnaigh sí a cuid oiliúna fliúite le ABRSM. Ina dhiaidh sin, chríochnaigh sí a Máistreacht i dTeiripe Ceoil ag Ollscoil Luimnigh.

Áine completed her music grades on the piano and violin with the RIAM and she completed her flute training with ABRSM. She then completed her Master's in Music Therapy at the University of Limerick.
Áine teaches the violin, piano, and flute. While living in Galway teaching music she was an active member of the NUIG orchestra. In 2016 she went to explore her love of travel and moved to Canada where she got the opportunity to teach music in Toronto, Canada with Forte Music school.
Joanne Cater (Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Oboe, Bassoon) 
Cháiligh Joanne Carter le honóracha ó Institiúid Ceoil Colchester i 1996. D’oibrigh sí in Warwickshire ó 1996 go 2000 mar mhúinteoir cuartaíochta gaothuirlise.

Joanne Cater graduated with honours from the Colchester Institute of Music in 1996. She worked in Warwickshire from 1996 to 2000 as a peripatetic woodwind teacher.
Joanne teaches flute, clarinet, sax, and other woodwinds, also music theory with the GRETB School of Music. An honorary local representative for ABRSM for over 15 years, Joanne has vast experience of teaching exam syllabi and offers tuition for all grade levels from preliminary to diploma with ABRSM Trinity and RIAM exams.
Peter Tobin (Piano, Guitar)

Peter studied piano with Patricia Lillis FLCM gaining a diploma of ALCM (piano) in 1996. He further studied guitar with the Registry of Guitar tutors (London college of music) and is registered as a guitar tutor with London college of Music.
He has been teaching piano and guitar in Galway for 25 years both privately and with the GRETB. Providing preparation for: LCM Piano exams, RIAM piano exams, RGT electric Guitar exams, Junior and Leaving cert music practical's as well as students’ own choices of music.
Tom Portman (Guitar, Dobro) 
Is ard-iluirliseoir é Tom Portman ar an stíl méire/giotár figín, Dobro agus lap steel, chomh maith le bheith ina sheinnteoir, cumadóir agus cumadóir amhrán, é bunaithe in iarthar na hÉireann.
In 2021, chríochnaigh sé Céim Mháistreachta i scríobh amhrán ag Ollscoil Luimnigh (le honóracha den chéad ghrád). Anuas air sin, múineann Portman ranganna uirlise le os cionn deich mbliana i nGaillimh, trí GRETB. "If it has strings, Portman can play them. Not only play them but bend them, scratch them, shape 'em and mould them into a collage of beauty”.
Tom Portman is an advanced multi-instrumentalist on finger style/plectrum guitar, Dobro® and lap steel, performer, composer and songwriter based in the west of Ireland.
In 2021 he completed a Master's Degree in Song-writing at the University of Limerick (first class honours). In addition, Portman teaches instrumental classes for over ten years in Galway through the GRETB. "If it has strings, Portman can play them. Not only play them but bend them, scratch them, shape 'em and mould them into a collage of beauty”.
Jantien Vandenberg (Violin, Piano, Cello, Clarinet, Flute, Saxophone) 
I ndiaidh di staidéar ag Ardscoil Cheoil Amsterdam, tháinig Jantien go hÉirinn i 1990, agus ón am sin is múinteoir í le Scéim Scoil Cheoil na Gaillimhe, atá á riaradh ag GRETB anois. After studying at the Amsterdam Conservatory for Music Jantien arrived in Ireland in 1990 and has been a teacher with the Galway School of Music Scheme, now run by GRETB, since that time. She teaches strings, violin and cello, piano and wind instruments, flute, clarinet and saxophone. Jantien has a student-centered approach to teaching, using a lot of repertoire and arrangements.
Anna Falkenau (Fiddle, Violin) 
Is múinteoir agus seinnteoir paiseanta í Anna. Tá A-Leibhéal Ceoil, céim BMus agus Máistreacht sa cheol aici. Anna is a passionate and dedicated music teacher and performer. She holds an A-Level Music a BMus degree and a Master’s in Music. With more than twenty years of teaching experience (private tuition, group classes, class room teaching, festival workshops, lecture demonstrations). she currently teaches for GRETB and elsewhere. Focusing on Irish traditional fiddle tuition and performance, she offers preparation for Comhaltas’s graded Irish traditional music exams, SCT’s, Leaving and Junior Certificate.
