Work Experience
Students undertake work experience one day per week for the entire academic year. In addition to this some students may also decide to participate in block work experience weeks.
Each student is required to submit an information sheet and evaluation form for each work experience they have undertaken

Obair Dheonach
Tugaimid deis do scoláirí níos mó a fháil amach fúthu féin trí Obair Dheonach a dhéanamh, uair sa tseachtain. Seo obair in eagraíocht charthanach a dhéanann obair ar son dhaoine eile. Cuidíonn na scoláirí amach san eagraíocht neamhbhrabúis atá i gceist. m.sh. san Ionad Lae, eagraíochtaí a thugann cabhair d’ainmhithe, siopaí carthanacha, teach súip, teach altranais, Friends of the Elderly etc
Caitheann na scoláirí gach iarnóin xxxxxxxxxx ag obair in eagraíochtaí charthanachta nó deonacha. Tugann an deis iontach seo tuiscint níos fearr do na scoláirí ar an obair a dhéanann na heagraíochtaí sin chun sochaí níos cóire a spreagadh. Go minic leanann na daltaí ar aghaidh ag cabhrú san eagraíocht agus is féidir leo an obair sin a chur le Gradam An Gaisce.
Iarrtar ar dhaltaí a gcuid taithí oibre féin a eagrú agus mar gheall ar sin molaimid dár scoláirí chun tús a chur leis an bprióseas seo chomh luath agus is féidir leo.
Volunteeer Work/Social Placement
We give our students the opportunity to learn more about themselves through volunteer work, which takes place once a week.This involves working in a volunteer organisation that works for other people. Non-profit organisations such as Day Centres, animal shelters, charity shops, soup kitchens etc.
The students spend every xxxxxxxxxxxxx working in voluntary or charitable organisations. This great opportunity gives the students a better understanding of the work being carried out by these organisations to help create a better society. Often students carry on volunteering in the organisation and they can use the experience for the Gaisce Awards.
